TT RADIO HERE
The Isle of Man during TT week is a magical place to be, sitting outside a pub drinking beer only inches from the road, with only a piece of rope between you and the bikes flashing past at 170 mph, echoing a wall of thundering noise all around, the sights, the sounds and the smell of burning Castrol R, enough to give any biker a high to last a life time!!!!
I've been to the TT many times but sadly missing it this year, the impact of riding your bike on the same roads as the racers has you thinking just how the hell can they average 130 Mph, on such twisting, narrow, bumpy country roads, it's just mind blowing!

I'm looking forward to it Rick. Starts tonight on One HD (Ten network's HD channel). I heard someone is taking one of the MotoGP Ducatis around the course.
You can't beat the sound of the v-twins on a road course. I remember watching Joey Dunlop on a VTR-SP1 in 2000 at the Northwest 200. Even though it was off the pace all the hairs on the back of your neck stand up as it passes.
I don't think I've ever seen anything go that fast in person. I imagine it's amazing. I don't understand how they make the twists and turns - amazing.
Yes you can't beat the sound of of a Duke [ maybe a open pipe Triumph speed triple?]wonderful :]
Yes Scott most average people would have trouble averaging 60 mph round the 37 mile TT course, but to see the racers average 130mph plus, takes your breath away!
