I hope there's a reason for his 1:03:55 half in Phily. Not the sort of form you'd want if chasing the AR.

It's cool that Benson Masya ran in your neck of the woods. He won the Gold Coast half one year I ran back in the 90s - around the 61 minute mark too. Think it's still the course record.

I want Ryan to pull out a good run in Chicago. But whenever someone says they are going to "relax" and there is "no pressure" the next race, you can be sure they are going in with pressure and not too relaxed!!!

Just hope he can handle the pressure and tension that must come with a record bid.

Ewen, Benson was a class act who lost his way in the end! We use to see him running along the local beach and through the pinewoods, often he would be wearing a tracksuite and whooly hat even in the middle of summer :]
Scott and Ewen, yeah Ryan had a bad run in the half, but sure why!
But reckon he would be better taking off the Garmin and just racing!
